Are you an experienced Project Manager keen to support solutions within the Aerospace manufacturing sector? If so the following permanent role might be for you\xe2\x80\xa6.

On behalf of my client, a leading Aerospace and Defence Electronics organisation based in Greater Manchester I am pleased to present the opportunity for a Project Manager on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director and working within a highly secure environment, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects at a crucial time in the company\'s ambitious growth and expansion plans.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining clear plans and schedules for each project to assure on time delivery.
  • Working within agreed programme budgets, P&L objectives, managing and controlling costs accordingly.
  • The delivery and execution of the assigned programme(s) with accountability for individual project performance.
  • Managing and reporting on programme performance, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Leading a culture of continuous improvement of health and safety performance and zero harm through identifying and managing all site and people hazards.
You:
  • An accredited Project/Programme Manager (APMP/Prince2 or similar).
  • Demonstrable experience gained in an aerospace, defence or military setting (desirable)
  • A successful track record managing full project lifecycles for aerospace and defence related customers.
  • Competent with MS Office Suite and skilled with MS Project, to be able to plan and manage work tasks
  • Previous experience in bid writing and submission would be advantageous (desirable)
  • Qualified in Systems or Aerospace Engineering or an associated discipline would be (desirable)
