The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. The Project Manager will set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports regarding status of project.
General Responsibilities
Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
Develops comprehensive project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members and bringing solutions/opportunities
Track and update changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
Report and escalate to management as needed
Assists in performing risk management to minimize project risks
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Specific CriteriaA University degree or relevant work experience
Experience leading engineering projects in a fast past development environment.
Experience leading Mechanical or Hardware or software and/or system development projects.
It would be desirable that you have a background in an Automotive or fast paced technology development environment.
