We're looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic

Project Manager

to join our Strategy and Projects Department. You will beworking

40 hours per week

on an

18-month fixed term basis.




This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and inclusive environment where your technical expertise will contribute to the learning journey of our students. You will be managing and delivering multiple projects in the strategic projects' portfolio of the University and ensuring the delivery of all projects in alignment with the goals of the University.


As a Project Manager you will:




Project planning and management - define project scope and schedule; organise and lead project meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned project Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices Leading the identification and development of key project objectives, milestones, actions, dependencies, and success criteria in collaboration with the project sponsor and other stakeholders. Managing all stakeholders to manage key dependencies and interfaces between projects, to ensure consistency with objectives and timelines. Collaborating with teams across the University responsible and with vendors / partners for the full change and transformation scope

Is this you?:




Substantial knowledge of project management frameworks and governance approaches First class communication skills and a real ability to secure results via diplomatic influence and authority, with the necessary confidence to build senior level relationships Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision; self-motivated with a hands-on, positive attitude Assertive but with outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to carry opinion by effective persuasion Fair, consistent, open, and honest
