What Does a Project Manager Do?

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and delivering small, medium, and large-scale investment projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, manage contractors, and oversee project planning, execution, and handover. A key part of the role is ensuring that downtime is minimized and customer commitments are maintained during implementation. You will also develop formal project justifications (PARs), facilitate team communications, and champion best practices in project management.

Education / Experience

Proven experience managing engineering or operational improvement projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting


Familiarity with project justification tools (e.g., PARs) and project planning processes


Experience coordinating with maintenance, planning, and production functions


Ability to manage third-party contractors and ensure adherence to safety and legal requirements
