The Play Company is dedicated to creating fun and safe play environments for all ages. The ambitious family-run business is passionate about designing and building bespoke projects for customers in the UK, Europe, and the United States.

Our in-house sales and design teams work with customers to create bespoke play areas before our manufacturing team brings the vision to life. Each play area is then carefully delivered to site and installed to comply with the regulations.

About the Role



We're in an exciting period of growth and looking for a Project Manager to join our enthusiastic and fun team.

Reporting to the Operations Director and working closely with the production and logistics teams, you will be the primary point of contact for your assigned customers, bringing together all elements of a project, including communication, procurement, deliveries, installation, and handover.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering installations on time and within budget, monitoring progress, managing risks, and escalating issues when needed.

With a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to delivering excellence, you'll lead regular update meetings with customers and the wider team to ensure deadlines are met. You'll also adopt a culture of continuous improvement by holding wash-ups after each project and sharing lessons learned.

What you'll do:



Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring resource and product availability, to meet timelines and budgets Set up projects in the CRM system, updating clear and concise information Act as the main liaison between customers, TPC, partners, stakeholders, and subcontractors Provide regular updates to customers on project progress, clearly addressing any questions or concerns, delivery dates, and ETAs in a professional manner Anticipate and escalate risks and challenges related to project overrun issues, scope creep, installation concerns, or resource requirements Monitor and respond to the installation teams, customers, and subcontractors, during varying time zones, in a timely manner Develop and maintain effective working relationships with new and existing customers Attend daily team meetings, and as required, meet with customers, the design team, and stakeholders Lead and participate in regular project wash-ups Coordinate surveys, cleaning, and inspections of installations Prepare detailed monthly reports Positively contribute to The Play Company's culture, through influence and engagement with others

What you'll need:



Essentials:



Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft products

Excellent time management and organisation skills to support the completion of tasks

Ability to learn quickly and dive into the details

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented mindset

Flexible approach to respond to changing priorities and to work around time zones

Self-motivated

Full clean driving licence

Work pattern - Monday to Friday with flexibility on time zones

Desirables:



Experience using Monday.com

Relevant experience in the industry

Previous project coordination role, or similar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-40,000.00 per year
