Halstock Cabinet Makers are looking for a Project Manager to manage high end joinery design, manufacture and installation for some of the world's most prestigious properties.

We are looking for candidates that can manage high end joinery projects from 100k - 6m to Halstock standards, processes and deadlines.

We are looking for an individual who can maintain and build client relationships whilst holding projects at the highest financial value possible.

Based in Somerset; we design, manufacture, and install bespoke interiors for the high-end residential market.

JOB DESCRIPTION



Manage members of a project team conveying accurate instructions and communication throughout short, medium and long-term projects. Plan all elements of the project and deliver to set timescales ensuring enough time is allocated to each aspect of the project using Excel spreadsheets. Create a clear and precise project plan, referencing the Halstock Project Strategy SOP. To create a procurement timeline that fits with Halstock current project timeline. Identify resources and assign responsibilities. Work alongside the operations team and design team manager to set the team and agree on the project plan. Ensures project documents such as the drawing register, are complete, current, and appropriately stored and kept up to date. Line management to 3no. Staff members, Complete yearly PDR's completed alongside the Operation's Director. Set budgets for the sub-con team if and when required. Set budgets for specialist materials. LiaIse with a wider team to arrange samples and mock ups to be manufactured. Work with Installation managers and Production Designers to compile lists of RFIs prior to issuing to clients. Meet with the installation manager and arrange the 1st co-ordination meeting. Manage projects to the value of circa 100k to 8m. Retain responsibility for delivery of project. Handover to completions when required during final phase, normally after PC. Update and manage project commercial elements: example FTD (financial tracking document) Knowledge of Excel required for this role. Update and issue project timelines, on an Excel system. Support to Technical Designers: Weekly Production Design reviews Monitoring hours available Monitoring hours used Ownership by PD/IM of Hours used Assisting with scenario planning Training & feedback When to involve Procurement/Sub-con department
To attend meeting as required (including but not limited to)

Handover meeting from sales team External Client meetings Onsite contractor co-ordination meetings (Ie plumbers, electricians) Internal client meetings Internal team project tracking meetings

SKILLS AND ABILITIES



Project management background within the cabinet making/interior design industry Knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and the co-ordination required with other trades Degree or equivalent demonstrating an understanding of the Bespoke Cabinet Making and Construction Industry Demonstrate a clear understanding of AutoCAD and be able to read and amend drawings for manufacture Understand basic revenue models, profit/loss and forecasting Ability to develop, manage and implement agreed strategy Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Strong IT skills in all relevant software Strategic planning skills Strong organisational skills Strong motivation, leadership and team management skills
