We are an organisation dedicated to helping people who have been affected by trauma. We're looking for a Project Manager / Link Worker to join our team
on a 12-month contract (10 hours per week). In this role, you'll help individuals
access the support they need to heal, build resilience, and thrive.
Role:
? Trauma-Informed Support: Offer emotional support to individuals affected by
trauma, helping them manage stress and work through their healing journey in
a safe, non-judgmental way.
? Social Prescribing: Help individuals connect to local resources, services,
and activities that promote overall wellbeing and recovery.
? Community Outreach: Ensure that people know about the support available
and make sure our services are accessible to all, especially those who need it
most.
? Lead Coaching Sessions: Provide trauma-sensitive coaching focused on
emotional health, stress management, and recovery, creating a supportive
and safe space for participants.
? Manage Projects: Support and oversee the project activities, making sure
they are delivered thoughtfully and efficiently.
? Outreach: Work alongside our team to ensure our outreach and services are
sensitive to the unique needs of the community and people affected by
trauma.
? Engage with the Community: Connect with local organisations, ensuring our
services are known and accessible to the people who need them most.
What We're Looking For:
? Experience in project management, social prescribing, coaching, with skill/expertise in trauma/ mental health.
? Knowledge of local community services and resources that support recovery
and wellbeing.
? Strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and kindly.
? Compassionate, non-judgmental, and patient centred approach
