We are looking for a Project Manager/Producer who combines razor-sharp project and account management with creative production expertise to join our growing team at Cande Group.
This is a pivotal role in our production operation, ideal for a multi-skilled producer who thrives on organising people, timelines, ideas, and logistics, while delivering high-quality creative work that meets the brief and delights our clients.
About the Role
As a Project Manager/Producer, you will oversee a varied portfolio of projects, from social promos and brand films to animations, livestreams, and corporate films. You'll take the reins and oversee projects from initial brief to final delivery, balancing multiple productions at once and working with our talented production team to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget. The Project Manager/Producer, will manage multiple projects at once, keeping our production teams up-to-date with evolving deadlines. This will include facilitating regular project meetings with key personnel, updating clients with progress and orchestrating resources in order to react to new and emerging priorities.
Strong organisational ability, clear communication, and the ability to manage client expectations are essential.
The Project Manager/Producer will lead pre-production planning and working collaboratively with the Cande leadership team, creatives, freelancers, and clients to bring concepts to life. This includes working up pitch decks and proof-of-concepts, storyboarding, budgeting, scheduling, location and crew logistics, and everything in between. Project Manager/Producer will also work closely with editors, dipping into the post-production process to help shape content in line with the initial brief and keep projects on track.
The role is client-facing and team-leading, you'll manage relationships, mentor junior staff, contribute to pitches and proposals, and help develop internal workflows to improve how we operate.
Key Responsibilities
Manage video and multimedia projects end-to-end, from concept through to delivery
Take an initial brief from a client, shape and define it, and work with the production team to see it through to delivery. Briefs will range from fully-formed requirements to the spark of an initial idea.
Lead pre-production including scheduling, call sheets, contributor bookings, budgeting and logistics
Maintain proactive and clear communication with clients, managing timelines and expectations
Confidently lead interviews and direct talent to capture compelling content
Oversee and contribute to post-production, working with editors
Ensure deliverables meet platform and client-specific requirements, brand guidelines and deadlinesCo-ordinate projects including livestreams, location shoots and in-field productions, ensuring safety and qualityLead team members and freelance crews, providing direction, support, and constructive feedback
Maintain and update project management systems and documentation
Help refine internal workflows and production operations
Stay on top of industry trends and best practices
Represent Cande in client meetings, often as the first point of contact, ideation sessions and creative pitches
What We're Looking For
Minimum 4 years' experience in commercial video production
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
Comfortable leading productions independently and within a team
Strong communication and relationship management skillsKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Da Vinci and similar is a plus
Comfortable with budgeting, scaling projects, and aligning production with client expectations
Organised, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressureCreative thinker with strong editorial instincts and attention to detail
Clean driving license with a willingness to travel to client meetings and shoots
