Do you have the experience of supporting projects? If you are keen to help young people in our county thrive and learn more about the world of work, then you may be the perfect fit for our East Sussex Careers Hub Project Officer in the Employability and Skills team at East Sussex County Council.


The Employment and Skills team are recruiting for a Project Officer to support the Careers Hub with the delivery of the Employment and Skills strategy in East Sussex. The role will support the Careers Hub with the delivery and management of projects and programmes, including work on a primary schools focused project, and will support local businesses and education with careers, employment and skills initiatives. The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading on specific areas within the team such as producing research and communication about their projects, compiling reports, and overseeing information management systems within the team.





We are looking for candidates who:


Can plan and organise varied workloads Communicate effectively with diverse audiences Can influence and support change using negotiation skills Interpret and analyse complex data Can monitor budgets effectively Have working knowledge of employment and skills support particularly for young people. Have knowledge of Careers Education landscape nationally and locally, with a focus on primary.
