Project Planner to join our growing

Project Management Office (PMO)

. You'll be supporting the delivery of an ambitious Capital Investment Portfolio, helping shape critical infrastructure to support the

UK submarine programme

.

What will you be doing?




Lead the tactical scheduling of live projects within the Capital Infrastructure Planning Team

Provide key interface across Project Managers, Commercial, Engineering, Construction & Supply Chain

? Assist Programme Managers in all aspects of project scheduling

Align project cost with scheduling tools - primarily

Primavera P6



Support strategic project objectives & annual spend forecasting

Deliver data-driven schedule reports (Cost, Risk, Estimating, Change)

Perform schedule variance & critical path analysis

Support planning assurance & continuous improvement activities

Qualifications



What experience are we looking for?




? Extensive hands-on experience with

Primavera P6

(Advanced level)

Proven ability to develop scheduling tools for improved analysis & challenge

Confidence in delivering schedule assurance and planning peer reviews

? Experience in coaching & upskilling planning teams

Ability to deliver training on Project Controls concepts

Developed understanding of Project Management & Project Controls


Nice to Have (but not essential):




APM PPC Foundation

APM PFQ

Background in Project Management

Level 3 Qualification or above

Additional information




Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance. To gain this they will be required to be a Sole UK national,


Hybrid role mainly WFH - It is expected to require 2 days/fortnight at the Client base in Plymouth


This can be a staff or umbrella contract role.
