Portakabin are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have construction planning experience , as you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of various projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within scope. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, utilising project management software to track progress and manage resources effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
Utilise Salesforce and content management systems to manage project documentation and communications.
Implement project management methodologies such as Waterfall to guide project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
Facilitate team meetings using tools like Basecamp to ensure all stakeholders are informed of updates and changes.
Prepare regular status reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Foster a collaborative environment by effectively managing team dynamics and encouraging open communication.
Qualifications
Proven experience in project management or planning, preferably in a related industry.
Strong understanding of product management principles and product development processes.
Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Basecamp) and analytical tools such as SAS.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in team management, fostering a positive team culture, and driving performance outcomes.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
