Purpose of Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Planner to join our construction team, specialising in refurbishment projects.
Working across a portfolio of live and upcoming schemes, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple works programmes - from strip-out and internal refurbishments to complex phased upgrades and decants.
Responsibilities
Develop, update, and manage project programmes using Asta Powerproject or MS Project.
Collaborate with project managers, site teams, commercial staff, and designers to ensure realistic planning and sequencing.
Create master programmes and short-term lookaheads for multiple concurrent refurbishment projects.
Analyse project performance and adjust programmes to reflect delays, scope changes, or acceleration.
Attend planning meetings and contribute to client progress reports and presentations.
Support tender submissions with construction programmes, methodology input, and phasing plans.
Monitor key dates, deadlines, and critical paths to drive timely project completion.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
Proven experience in a programme or construction planner role within the refurbishment sector.
Strong working knowledge of Asta Powerproject or equivalent planning software.
Familiarity with the challenges of delivering live-environment or occupied building refurbishments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence teams and stakeholders.
A methodical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Understanding of CDM regulations and construction sequencing in constrained environments.
