At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM's in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery

What will you be doing?




We are looking for a Project Purchasing Manager to define and implement purchasing strategies, drive cost-saving projects, and optimise our supply chain in terms of cost, time, and preventive supplier quality. You will play a crucial role in supporting and communicating the DC-MO strategic goals within the central Purchasing Organisation while fostering a high level of cross-departmental team spirit. Your key responsibilities will be:

Manage and develop a small team of Purchasing Engineers responsible from component development to serial production. Coordinate purchasing projects based on defined business unit and supply chain strategies. Align optimisation activities for the international supply chain set up with the responsible counterparts of our second production location in Queretaro, Mexico. Take responsibility for achieving and reporting purchasing project cost savings.

Overall, you will act as the interface between the business unit, material field-related purchasing and suppliers.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?



Experience in managing a team with strong positive leadership skills and the ability to foster team spirit across departments. Proven professional in purchasing and supply chain management. Knowledge of internal purchasing processes within Bosch Rexroth. Experience in setting up global supply chains and strategies with technical knowledge of standards and processes for main commodities (casting, machining, forging). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with stakeholders at all levels and cross functions of the international organisation. Results-oriented, communicative, independent, structured, and assertive.
