We are currently seeking an Internal Project Sales Executive to join a rapidly growing, family-run business based in Deeside, Wales. We are looking for a passionate and hungry sales orientated individual who can bring big ideas, new skills, and innovative thinking to help grow and achieve our mission. This is initially an internal sales role, reporting to the sales director, however there is an opportunity for this person to step up into a senior role in the near future, and be actively out on the road, meeting clients face to face.

Key Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential project opportunities and key decision-makers within target industries.
  • Utilise various channels, including online research, industry publications, trade shows, and referrals, to generate a consistent flow of qualified project leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Initiate outbound communication, including emails, cold calls, and personalised messages, to engage with potential clients and introduce the company\'s project offerings.
  • Utilise persuasive communication skills to create interest in the company\'s project capabilities and services.
  • Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and sales activities.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress and identifying potential areas for improvement.
  • Follow up with potential clients on submitted quotations to address any inquiries, provide clarifications, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Conduct preliminary qualification of leads to assess their project needs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Gather key information to ensure leads align with the company\'s target project scope.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of project leads, prospects, and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Regularly track and update lead status, ensuring accurate reporting and pipeline management.
  • Work closely with the sales, project management, and estimating teams to coordinate lead generation efforts, share insights, and align strategies.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of project quotations.
  • Monitor lead generation metrics, including lead-to-quotation conversion rates, response times, and lead quality.
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, project quotation progress, and success rates.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and project opportunities to identify new lead generation possibilities.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements, balancing client needs with company objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive deals to successful closure, ensuring all necessary documentation and agreements are completed accurately.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a sales or lead generation
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Highly organisation
  • Experience within a \xe2\x80\x9cdesign and fit\xe2\x80\x9d business or construction related business (ideal but not essential)
  • Have a passion for sales and customer relationships.
  • Be hungry, humble, and smart.
  • Proactive and energetic
  • Positive "can do" attitude
Working hours:
  • Monday-Thursday: 07:30-16:30
  • Friday: 07:30-15:30
