Bumblebee Lighting is a small, fast growing supplier of commercial lighting products priding ourselves on quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be looking to start a career in the Lighting industry, in a projects based team. We are offering a trainee role that is heavily supported by the Sales Director & Design Team. The ideal candidate would be hard working and able to respond to multiple tasks in a timely manner. External development courses can be offered in support. This position would need their own transport due to rural location.

Key responsibilities:

Completing all or required phases of project design, starting from the original concept to final phase:

Quotations

Lighting Calculations

Drawings

Datasheets

Becoming proficient with our CRM management (Sage 50 accounts) for client and project details. Liaising with the Sales Director for project tracking and progress.

Supporting the Sales Team with Client account management for design & project needs, developing key client relationships, ensuring excellent service and project delivery.

Undertaking lighting fundamentals and design training. Learning AutoCAD and Dialux/Relux software to meet design briefs generated by Client requirements.

Skills and experience:

Highly desirable: ability to read architectural drawings to understand project specifications

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team

Experience in using Sage 50 Accounts, Dialux/Relux or AutoCAD would be an advantage

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on?client management?and project delivery

Ability to?manage multiple projects?and client accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines

An understanding of?architectural lighting, product knowledge, or experience in a sales environment would be an advantage

Have a drive to improve processes/techniques
