Role Title: Project Support
Reports to: Operations Manager

We are actively involved in each part of our clients projects from design and concept, through to manufacture and installation, giving our clients the confidence in our final product. We love the variety of styles and ideas, we collaborate to create with our clients but are excited by those projects that don't necessarily follow the trends, or perhaps combine different styles to create something really unique. Wentwood serve across 3 industries from domestic interiors, commercial interiors & events.
Wentwood are designers & producers of joinery products from our 500m2 manufacturing facility, including design studio, machine shop, assembly & spray booths. We are a busy team and are seeking a detail-oriented Project Support Person to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the operation team to support on all day to general duties for all orders and projects that are facilitated at the company.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative tasks:
Open up & close daily
Maintain design studio
Process new projects into management programmes
Track project progress
Distributing project updates and information
Track new project inquiries & input to systems
Assisting in developing project plans and timelines
Booking of crew, transport and accommodation for projects
Tracking project progress against milestones
Identifying potential risks and issues, escalating as needed
Maintaining project databases and reporting systems
Work with the group team to ensure all business needs are being monitored
Attend team meetings
Participate in digitisation of the business
Support project delivery team
Manage material requirements
Required skills for a Project Support role:
To be successful in this role, you should exhibit experience in Project Support or Customer Service based experience, minimum of 3 years. Be process driven, controlled under pressure and importantly a team player for the delivery of a very demanding sector of manufacturing. The ability to multi-task in a complex and demanding environment and have the ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships with a range of people (both internally and externally).
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in MS Office
The ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously
