Job Description

Working within the Estates & Facilities Department, you will be part of the team responsible for the delivery of a range of comprehensive projects across the Trust's Estate, covering both Clinical and non-clinical divisions. The team is responsive, efficient, financially effective and delivers to a high standard.



This post is part of the Subco service that Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust may transfer to a NHS wholly owned subsidiary company from October or November 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing, expanding, organisation with a strong commitment to NHS values and putting patients first. Please be aware that this role is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants should be aware of the requirement to independently obtain ongoing right to work in the UK beyond the expiry of any temporary or time-limited permissions. Evidence of this will need to be shared with the HR Team to ensure our records remain up to date.



The post holder will provide a full administrative/coordination and project support service, independently responding to correspondence/enquiries from a range of stakeholders both internally and externally to the Trust. Ensuring that any arising issues are raised and dealt with efficiently to mitigate any risks. Ensuring all documents and reports are developed and delivered as specified and in line with timelines.



The postholder will be required to obtain and analyse space requirements, specific needs and clinical linkages, ensuring alignment to the long-term trust wide Estates strategy. The postholder will have knowledge of Space Utilisation practices, procedures and principles in buildings.



To assist the Capital Projects team in the successful delivery of construction projects throughout the site. To coordinate the departments project matrix and report on progress, ensuring the team are in line with project timescales. As well as independently running small projects, and relaying progress back to the Projects team as well as Stakeholders.



You will be required to travel across the Trust Estate, including some properties off site.
