Are you a motivated and confident construction professional with strong commercial expertise? Skanska is seeking a

Project Surveyor

to join our Building operating unit. You will play a pivotal role in the commercial management and successful delivery of a high-profile, commercial project in Cambridge.

What you'll do:



Control the cost management for project and provide financial reporting regularly. Understand the contractual requirements of project documents including the roles and responsibilities of all involved and the notices required to record change etc. Ensure all required notices are issued in a timely manner. Assist in risk and opportunity management (with operations team) of known and newly identified risks and opportunities for best project return. Utilise and comply with company procedures in relation to commercial site procedures; systems, cost control, variations of contract and method of measurement. Participate in managing the Design Change Management philosophy in accordance with the Project Strategy to include, design change, scope variation, instruction and programme change

What you'll bring to the role:



Experience working on Design & Build construction projects. BSc, HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject, preferably a RICS accredited course. Proven track record working on similar scale of projects with JCT contract experience. Understand and articulate the construction process/sequence. Have working knowledge of the environmental, health and safety standards expected on site.
