As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Project Sustainability Manager to join our team

Position Overview:



As Project Sustainability Manager, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring and reporting of project based sustainability and environmental targets. This is a hybrid role where you will work from our office in London as well as across our various projects across London and the South. To deliver the requirements of the role the successful candidate will work closely with the construction project teams and across all internal departments. The successful candidate should have experience in construction environmental management (including BREEAM, WELL etc) and delivering projects which are aligned to our sustainability strategy's three key areas, namely Environment and Footprint, People and Communities and Governance and Resilience.

Key Responsibilities:



Providing support at tender stage against client sustainability and environmental requirements. Ensuring that procurement documentation reflects the project sustainability requirements. Ensuring that projects and supply chain comply with the requirements of legislation. Managing projects to reduce carbon emissions & waste and ensuring that goods and services are ethically procured with support from the procurement team. Ensuring each project understands their client's sustainability requirements (including delivery of environmental assessments e.g., BREEAM, WELL etc.) Reporting project performance against client requirements including material management and carbon reporting. Reviewing project performance, identifying, and addressing areas of improvement Communicating our strategy aims and achievements, getting buy in from wider staff base. Identifying and communicating best practice across the business. Delivery of training on environmental management and sustainability for the project staff as needed.

Essential Skills And Qualifications:



Building services/M&E experience desired. Experience in a construction environmental / sustainability role essential. Knowledge of environmental assessment methods (BREEAM, LEED, WELL etc). Ability to review, advise and manage delivery of sustainability performance and environmental assessments . Managing delivery of the company & client sustainability requirements from preconstruction to practical completion
