We currently have
two exciting opportunities
available:
1?? Family Support Worker - Disability Focus
Support children
with additional needs and their families by:
? Providing tailored support to promote inclusion and development
? Working closely with parents, early years staff, and health professionals
? Helping families navigate services and access the right support at the right time
2?? Family Support Worker - Community Development & Outreach Focus
Engage with local families and strengthen community connections by:
? Delivering outreach activities and parenting programmes
? Building relationships with hard-to-reach families
? Supporting community-led initiatives that promote early years development

Essential Criteria:
? NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development or a related field, or a qualification above this, e.g. Degree in Early Childhood Studies or a related field.
? Relevant demonstrable experience working directly with families and young children in a supportive role
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively
? Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and early intervention approaches

Access to a car or ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role
