Unitech Projects Ltd who are based in Burntwood, Staffordshire are a multi-disciplined construction / project-based Company who predominately work in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries.
Unitech Projects Ltd are part of the Unitech Group of Companies who are now actively looking for a
Project / Contracts Manager.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Managing Director this role reports directly to the company directors and is a pivotal position within the company. Your role consists of:
Main duties and responsibilities:
Define scope and objectives
You will be working with the sales, production and engineering teams to organise live projects and projects still in proposal stage.
Organise resources in each department
Prepare budgets and track project costs
Develop and manage project programmes
Provide project updates to all parties and adjust resourcing as necessary
Managing contracts with suppliers, contractors and customers by assigning tasks and communicating objectives.
Monitor progress making adjustments as needed
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Any other duties commensurate within this position and skill set required
Skills, Experience and Competencies Required:
Possess previous experience of working within a similar position.
Experience of working within manufacturing industry is a clear advantage.
Have the knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Be computer literate including CAD, and Microsoft office applications
Have excellent communication skills
Be enthusiastic, analytical and methodical in your approach to work
.
Be self-motivated with the ability to work equally well using your own initiative and as part of a team.
Have the ability to motivate a professional team of engineers working well at all levels within the organisation.
Possess a UK driving licence with the ability and flexibility to travel and stay overnight as required.
Must hold a valid passport as overseas travel may be required.
