to support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our properties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our properties are safe, clean, and well-presented for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a hands-on attitude, and enjoys working independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g. painting, replacing fixtures, clearing rubbish, etc)
Coordinate with contractors for more complex repairs
Ensure properties are compliant with health and safety standards
Report any major issues or hazards to management in a timely manner
Assist with move-in/move-out processes, including inventory checks and property preparation
Respond to urgent issues or tenant concerns when required
Requirements:
Previous experience in property maintenance, cleaning, caretaking, or a similar role
Basic handyman skills and ability to carry out minor repairs
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication skills
A proactive, can-do attitude and a high level of reliability
Driving licence (preferred but not essential)
