Property Inspector - Mighty Student Living & Mighty House Estates



Lancaster | Full-time | Permanent
Salary: 24,000-25,500 depending on experience

We're looking for a detail-focused Property Inspector to join our team on a full-time basis, supporting both Mighty Student Living and Mighty House Estates.

This is a varied role where you'll be visiting properties across Lancaster and the surrounding area to carry out inspections, document condition, and help ensure our high standards are maintained for both landlords and tenants.

No prior property inspection experience is required -- we're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the confidence to work independently. Full training will be provided.

Mighty Student Living is Lancaster's largest dedicated student lettings agency, and Mighty House Estates specialises in residential sales and lettings. Together, we manage a growing portfolio of properties and pride ourselves on delivering an efficient, friendly and professional service.

The Role



You'll work across both brands, carrying out:

Routine interim inspections during tenancies Exit inspections and check-ins at the start and end of tenancies Detailed photographic documentation of property condition Reporting cleanliness, damage, or maintenance issues Using inspection software on a mobile device to complete reports Managing keys and arranging property access Liaising with lettings and maintenance teams to ensure issues are resolved

What We're Looking For



A methodical approach and strong attention to detail Confident working independently and managing your own schedule Comfortable using IT systems, apps, and mobile devices Good communication skills and a professional manner Full UK driving licence and your own car (essential) Some property maintenance knowledge would be an advantage but not essential

This role will be working predominantly Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with a degree of flexibility. You will work from the office in Lancaster when not on inspections. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with the Student Lettings team and Residential Lettings team.
