The role




As a Property Intervention Surveyor you will be required to ensure the effective and efficient management and delivery of complex property matters in line with legislation , including responsive repairs, major works, empty homes, investment, latent building defects and insurable work programmes.


You will diagnose, advise and organise appropriate remedial works for complex repairs and building defect issues, liaising with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. This will also include providing support to customers in ensuring complex repairs are completed in accordance with their needs and oversee works when customers are residing in temporary accommodation.

The right fit



You must have demonstrable experience of effective delivery of major work programmes, preferably within social housing. You must be qualified to HNC or above or have demonstrable experience. Experience of working as Client/Contractor within the sector. Managing Contractors to successfully undertake planned works to occupied rented properties. Clear technical knowledge of building pathology with the ability to read and understand drawings, plans, schedules of work and make accurate mathematical calculations. A working knowledge of disrepair, HHSRS and Fitness for Human Habitation, Awaab's Law legislation and protocols. Knowledge of Health & Safety and Building Regulations. Experience maintaining accurate records on an asset management system or data base.
