Property Lawyer

Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Property Lawyer/Solicitor to lead our current conveyancing team.

You will undertake and supervise fee earning work in Residential Conveyancing department providing efficient and effective legal advice, assistance and representation for clients and maintaining the highest standards of professional expertise and client care at all times.

You will build and run a caseload of primarily residential conveyancing and administer all aspects of Residential Conveyancing on behalf of clients.

The successful candidate will report to the Directors, have the support of an Assistant/Secretary, with free onsite town centre parking. Hybrid working will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3 years' experience running a complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters. Strong knowledge and technical experience of: Residential conveyancing across the full range of sale, purchase and remortgage matters. Leasehold and lease extension work. Transfers of Equity New build SDLT requirements, including relevant reliefs and exemptions, in residential conveyancing matters. Dealing with unregistered properties. The impact of restrictions and cautions lodged against a property and how these might be removed. Strong team management skills with the ability to develop, coach and mentor junior team members. Proven track record of winning new business and developing strong relationships with Estate Agents & Brokers.
