We're working alongside a regional Legal 500 ranked firm, recruiting a Paralegal to join our client's Property Litigation team in their Chester office. The department advises clients across England and Wales on a broad range of contentious property matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, real estate litigation, and property-related professional negligence claims. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and legal sector experience to join a forward-thinking, award-winning firm.
Responsibilities include:
Open, close, and maintain property litigation case files in accordance with firm protocols.
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
Assist with case preparation for court hearings and mediations.
Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties.
Manage case files and maintain accurate records using case management systems.
Support fee earners with administrative tasks and document bundling.
Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
What we need from you:
Previous experience within Property Litigation.
Good commercial awareness.
Ability to commute to Chester.
