Lovett Sales & Lettings are looking for a full-time Property Maintenance Administrator to join our market-leading Lettings Team within their St Neots-based Estate Agency, in Cambridgeshire. The role presents a great opportunity to work within a fast-paced, family-run independent Estate Agency.
The successful candidate will support our lettings maintenance department, working particularly closely with our Property Maintenance Manager. The key functions of the role (listed below) will enable our Lettings Maintenance Team to enhance the service provision received by both our landlord and tenant clients.
Responsibilities
- Receiving maintenance requests & raising works orders to contractors, and seeing through to completion.
- Chasing of outstanding and pending works orders on a regular basis, and communicating with all parties (tenants, landlord and contractors).
- Liaising regularly with tenants, landlords, and contractors to ensure a satisfactory maintenance journey.
- Assisting with maintaining property compliance certifications, ensuring they are in-date, and renewed as required.
- Maintaining contractor records.
- Answering inbound telephone calls, ensuring concerns and requests are dealt with timely and efficient manner.
- Attending occasional, basic post-maintenance works inspections (training provided).
- Covering for the Maintenance Manager during periods of annual leave.
- Uploading contractor invoices to our CRM system
Skills and experience required
Essential:
- Experience of working in a customer service and/or administration role.
- Good standard of computing skills, with the ability to learn new operating systems & software
- A good communicator with ability to work co-operatively as part of a team, as well as independently while taking personal responsibility for assigned tasks
Desirable, but not essential:
- Full UK driving licence - access to a pool car will be provided during work hours
- Residential property lettings or property management experience
- Knowledge of property compliance requirements, and Heath & Safety requirements.
Other Information
The role is based at our offices on the Market Square, St Neots, hours 9am to 5.30pm Mon-Fri.
You will also be expected to work a very occasional Saturday, once every 2 to 3 months, on rotation (9am-5pm) - with a day off in lieu given for each Saturday worked.
You will also be enrolled into our NEST pension scheme (opt-out available of course)
