Job Description

Abbotsford Residential Care Home is looking to recruit a Handyman to help maintain the standard within the Care Home.

Daily duties include but not limited to General handyman duties.

General Paint work including painting of walls, doors, handrails, skirting board as well as keeping paintwork look fresh.

Plumbing skills preferred to attend to sinks, mixer valves and pipework. On a rare occasion we will need to fix or replace a new basin or Toilet and General plumbing work.

Electrical skills preferred to attend broken socket, new wiring, replacement of old wiring, changing bulbs, installation of new lights, finding faults that causing main switch to trip, general electrical work, as well as Fire Alarm maintenance.

General building work like plastering, skirting board fixing or replacing, carpentry work, varnishing, fixing new door or replace old door, Ceiling repairs, creating partition wall

General maintenance work like pressure cleaning as well as planting new plants and watering the plants when required.

Salary is negotiable depending experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
