Property & Maintenance Assistant

Full-Time o 40 Hours Per Week o Two Sites (Westgate & Dover)

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Property & Maintenance Assistant to help maintain two warm and welcoming residential care homes. This role plays a key part in ensuring our environments are safe, comfortable and well-presented for the people who live and work in the care home.

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and decorating across both homes. Supporting planned maintenance schedules and responding to maintenance requests. Identifying issues early and reporting them to management. Keeping clear records of work completed and property conditions. Working positively with residents, staff and visitors to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere.

What We're Looking For

Good DIY and decorating skills. Someone friendly, approachable and patient, able to interact respectfully with residents. Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks. A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Experience in care, housing or facilities settings is helpful, but not essential. A willingness to complete training which is relevant to working within a care home setting.
