Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
- Screen and process rental applications, including conducting background and credit checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Collect rent payments and follow up on any delinquent accounts
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions and activities
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) for administrative tasks and data entry
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent phone etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of leasing procedures, fair housing regulations, and landlord/tenant laws
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to tenants
- Familiarity with property management software (such as Yardi) is a plus
