We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to join our Manchester-based team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring full compliance with UK lettings legislation while delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of UK property management and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full tenancy lifecycle: check-ins/outs, renewals, maintenance, deposit disputes, etc.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements (EICR, EPC, Gas Safety, FRA, etc.)
Advise on smoke and CO alarm safety standards
Liaise with contractors, managing agents, insurance providers, and developers
Handle direct tenant complaints, including emergencies and escalation cases
Assist in legal communications with local councils and external parties
Coordinate part-time staff schedules and monitor task completion
Respond to emergency maintenance queries during working hours
Organise training workshops and contribute to internal team development
Draft formal communication (letters, notices, compliance updates) professionally
Represent the company in dispute resolution and negotiation with third parties
Requirements
Experience in UK residential property management
Strong knowledge of UK lettings legislation and compliance standards
Excellent written and spoken English
Able to handle pressure, manage multiple priorities, and resolve conflicts
Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset
