Job Overview

As a Property Renovation Coordinator, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of low-budget renovation projects for both occupied and unoccupied properties. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while efficiently managing teams and resources across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities

Property Inspections

: Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess renovation needs, identify cost-effective solutions, and prioritize tasks based on budget constraints and property condition.

Low-Budget Renovation Planning

: Develop and implement renovation plans tailored for low-budget projects, ensuring quality and functionality for both occupied and unoccupied properties.

Project Execution

: Manage all aspects of renovation projects, including coordinating materials, scheduling tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.

Timescale Management

: Drive projects to completion within tight timescales, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines while upholding quality standards.

Team Coordination

: Efficiently maneuver renovation teams between multiple properties, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring seamless transitions between project sites.

Tenant Communication

: For occupied properties, liaise with tenants to minimize disruption, coordinate access, and address concerns during the renovation process.

Budget Oversight

: Monitor project budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize value without compromising quality.

Quality Assurance

: Conduct final inspections to ensure all renovations meet company standards and tenant expectations.
Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in property renovations, refurbishments, or a related field. Strong understanding of low-budget renovation techniques and materials for residential properties. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Excellent organizational and leadership skills to coordinate teams across various locations. Strong communication skills to interact with tenants, team members, and suppliers. Knowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and cost management. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical, high-quality solutions. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between properties as needed.
Working Conditions

Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines. Work primarily on-site at various properties, with some office-based planning and administrative tasks. Ability to work in both occupied and unoccupied properties, adapting to tenant schedules and needs.
