Property Solicitor - Residential & Commercial

Location: Leatherhead

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: 35,000 - 55,000 - Dependant on experience

Position Overview

As a Property Solicitor, you will be central to the practice's success. You will provide expert legal advice to a range of clients on residential and commercial property matters. The role involves managing cases independently while also contributing to the practice's growth by building client relationships and raising its profile.

Responsibilities

Deliver legal advice and manage client matters from opening to closing. Conduct legal research and delegate fee-earning work to colleagues. Develop new business by providing estimates and following up on leads. Raise the practice's profile through networking and building relationships. Contribute to internal training and your own professional development.

Requirements

A qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a current practising certificate. A minimum of one year's practical experience in property law. Able to manage a full caseload of cases without supervision. Experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing. Expert knowledge in areas like leases, SDLT, and development work. An approachable, collaborative, and resilient working style.
