Property Surveyor (Compliance)



Based in Carlisle, Newcastle, Workington

36.25 hours per week

Temporary 24-month contract

Up to 42,200 dependant on training and experience.

(FTE based on 36.25 hours per week) + benefits package


If you are looking for an exciting new role, this is a great opportunity to join the Compliance Team at CCHA. As a Property Surveyor (Compliance) you will be part of a professional and customer focused team, with the responsibility for providing an efficient and effective service to our customers.

Working alongside the Senior Surveyor (Compliance) you will be an integral part of the Property Compliance Team ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all areas. With responsibility to manage contractors and consultants carrying out statutory assessments and associated works, including large scale replacement programmes. While also providing colleagues and stakeholders with technical expertise to ensure we continue to deliver an effective compliance service.

We are looking for candidates with skills and experience that includes:



Working within the social housing sector, particularly in a property compliance management setting

Leading to deliver high levels of performance, against defined targets

Prioritising to achieve realistic targets, costs and time deadlines

Coordination of complex processes

Relevant experience/qualifications in particularly fire safety within social housing, such as Fire Protection Authority (FPA)Fire Risk Management in Residential Properties (or equivalent).

CCHA will support the successful applicant in gaining relevant qualification if not already held.
