Join our cutting-edge full-service dental laboratory in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, where we specialise in both Fixed and Removable prosthetics and Crown and Bridge. We are looking to appoint a highly skilled Prosthetic Dental Technician who is experienced, motivated and passionate about delivering high-quality prosthetic work. The successful candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of prosthetic work, including removable, implant retained, and complex combination cases, demonstrating excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of dental anatomy and function.

They will be confident working independently, managing complex cases, and collaborating closely with clinicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Leadership experience and the ability to mentor trainee technicians is highly desirable, as is a commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with advancements in materials and techniques.

We would ideally like to appoint a full-time member of staff but would consider part-time for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities

Production of Dental Prosthetics

: Focus on creating high-quality dentures.

Case Planning

: Develop detailed plans for dental cases.

Case Organising

: Collaborate with our dental department and admin team to manage case logistics.

Experience

: At least one year of experience as a dental technician in a dental laboratory.

Qualifications

: Must be a trained dental technician.

GDC registration highly desired.

Skills

:

Excellent work ethic and motivation. Keen eye for detail. Ability to work well in a team and handle high-pressure situations. Commitment to continuous development and self-improvement.
