We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Protection Adviser to join our team at The Millwood Mortgage Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on life & criticall illness insurance products, key person insurance, assisting clients in selecting suitable protection plans, and ensuring a high standard of client service.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your negotiation, communication, and sales skills within a supportive environment. The successful applicant will be expected to build strong relationships with clients, analyse their needs, and recommend tailored insurance solutions to meet their individual circumstances.
Duties
Engage with clients via telemarketing, face-to-face meetings, or virtual consultations to promote insurance protection products.
Conduct thorough analysis of clients' needs to recommend appropriate protection plans.
Negotiate terms and premiums with clients to secure favourable agreements.
Manage sales administration tasks efficiently, including processing applications and updating client records accurately.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Provide clear and comprehensive information about policy features, benefits, and exclusions to ensure informed decision-making.
Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client queries promptly and professionally.
Follow up with prospective clients to maximise sales opportunities whilst adhering to compliance regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in insurance sales or related customer service roles is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and close sales effectively.
Multilingual abilities are advantageous; fluency in Spanish is particularly valued for engaging a diverse client base.
Familiarity with sales administration processes and CRM systems.
Analytical skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend suitable protection solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Experience in marketing or telemarketing is beneficial for developing outreach campaigns.
