Job Title: PSV Technician / Bus Mechanic

Location: Driffield Salary: [45,000-55,000] Shift Patten Day Shift 8-5 overtime when workload requires

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PSV Mechanic to join our engineering team. You'll be responsible for ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and roadworthy. From routine MOT preparations to deep-dive diagnostics on the latest electric and hybrid models, no two days will be the same.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance: Carry out high-quality repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on a variety of PSVs. Diagnostics: Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults. Safety First: Ensure all work meets DVSA standards and internal health and safety protocols. Documentation: Complete job cards and service records accurately (digital or paper-based). MOT Prep: Prepare vehicles for annual testing to ensure a first-time pass rate.
What We're Looking For

Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent). Experience: Previous experience working with buses, coaches, or HGVs is essential. License: A full UK driving license. A PCV (Category D) license is a massive bonus, but not required Mindset: A team player with a "right first time" attitude
