Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, and equipment repair. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Perform fabrication and assembly of components as per specifications. Conduct soldering and welding tasks to ensure the integrity of assemblies. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Utilise hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair activities. Carry out regular maintenance on Vehicles to prevent breakdowns. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in psv/hgv repair & maintenance Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to read schematics accurately for effective repairs. Strong fabrication skills with attention to detail in assembly work. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for various tasks.
