We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various psychiatric disciplines, including but not limited to pediatric psychiatry, crisis management, and outpatient care. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to patients of all ages, with a focus on diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
Manage medication regimens through psychopharmacology and monitor patient responses.
Deliver crisis management interventions for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Engage in telehealth services as needed to expand access to care.
Participate in data collection and quality improvement initiatives within the clinic or hospital setting.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
Experience
Board certification in Psychiatry is required; post-residency experience preferred.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with addiction counseling and PTSD care is beneficial.
Previous hospital or clinic experience is essential, particularly in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and intake processes is necessary.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
