Healthy Dialogues is a small consultancy company that supports the public and the voluntary sectors. We develop and deliver health behaviour change strategies for communities and populations.
The Role
Working closely with the health psychology team, you will be required to carry out support projects with general office tasks and activities within the team, and undertake any other duties as may reasonably be expected. You will be supporting a number of training projects, research and behaviour change projects on health and behaviour change. The position would suit someone with can-do personality and good team work ethic.
Demonstrating excellent people skills, you will be dealing with both general public and public sector professionals. Competent IT skills, accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines are essential to the role together with proven administration skills and the capability to work supportively and effectively within a team.
You must have the ability to work flexibly, have excellent organisational and communication skills and operate as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, with a strong emphasis on establishing a rapport and working relationships across a range of contacts. You will be expected to work independently at times, plan and organise work autonomously.
Job Tasks
Assisting with events management, team meetings and supporting with group events when required
Setting up training events including catering, room bookings and managing delegate bookings
Carrying out research and present findings to the team when required
Survey development and data collection
Data entry
Draft correspondence and engagement letters
Identify and facilitate knowledge sharing within peer group and wider team
General administrative support
Support the development and maintenance of the individual project plans for Healthy Dialogues initiatives
Formatting, proofreading and tidying-up of reports/presentations
Essential Skills/Requirements
Self-starter with ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, and proactively reach out to wider team to provide assistance
At least 2-years experience in administration, project support or research
Degree in psychology, public health or a related subject
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong emphasis on establishing a rapport and working relationships across a range of contacts.
Excellent organisational, timekeeping and IT skills, confident with MS Office and other administrative software
Superior communication skills across all levels and cultures - internal and external
Ability to work at pace and under pressure and form strong professional relationships with people at various levels
Resilience

Knowledge and experience or interest in Health Psychology or Public Health.
Project management experience or training.
Working Pattern
We are offering a permanent, part-time (22.5 hours over 3 days ideally). You will predominantly work from home with some travelling to the office for meetings and training sessions. The salary advertised is based on a FTE so would be pro-ratered for the hours worked.
