The PT Education & Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover) will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the communication and engagement strategy for Personal Trainers (PTs) at PureGym. This role is about creating clear, inspiring, and visually engaging education and communication pathways that support PT development, enhance engagement, and strengthen PT retention across the business.
You'll ensure that all PTs, whether new to the industry or highly experienced, feel connected, supported, and inspired through impactful communication, high-quality resources, and innovative engagement tools.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Communication
Lead the design and delivery of visually engaging communication (using Canva and other tools) across newsletters, webinars, digital platforms, and social channels.
Manage and update content across the PT Connect Mentoring Lab and other platforms to ensure PTs are consistently informed and inspired.
Produce creative assets that highlight PT education, success stories, and engagement initiatives.
Education
Support the development and delivery of the PT education and career journey at PG.
Manage communication and reporting on PT journey metrics, tracking engagement and success.
Contribute to ongoing updates of training content, ensuring it is relevant, creative, and engaging.
Engagement
Deliver a communication strategy that engages PTs and helps them see value in running their self-employed business at PureGym.
Organise and deliver online masterclasses, mentoring sessions, and virtual touchpoints through PureGym Master Trainers to connect with PTs at scale.
Facilitate and manage the PureGym Podcast hosted by the Master Trainers (diary management, booking guests, speaker questions, uploading to Buzzsprout).
Manage and grow the PureGym PT Instagram page to engage, educate, and support the PT community.
Support recruitment teams with engaging collateral to position PG as the employer of choice in the UK fitness industry.
PT Support
Collaborate with marketing to strengthen PG PT Support branding and positioning within the industry.
Enhance member experience through well-educated and highly engaged PTs.
Create clear, concise messaging to demonstrate the value of PT Support both internally and externally.
Must Haves
Strong background in engagement, communication, or marketing within the fitness or related industries.
Proven ability to design creative and visually impactful communications (Canva experience essential).
Experience using video editing software desirable but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, engaging messages.
A passion for fitness, education, and supporting PT career development.
Ability to think creatively, innovate, and bring fresh ideas to PT engagement.
