Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic class assistant to support children enrolled in the Kumon Maths and English programmes.

Classes run on Tuesdays and Fridays 3.30-6.00 pm and Saturdays 2.00 pm- 4.30 pm. You should be available to work on Tuesday and for one of the other two sessions.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the Instructor with the delivery/Instruction of the Kumon method Supervising specific student activities Accurately marking and recording students' work Observing students and providing concise feedback to the instructor Playing an active part in child safeguarding and health and safety issues
Requirements:

Strong numeracy and literacy skills (A level maths is a minimum, University maths is preferred) A passion for education and the development of children Positive and caring attitude towards children Ability to manage administrative tasks effectively. Ability to work accurately Available to work on Tuesday, 3.30-6.00 pm and Friday, 3.30-6.00 pm or Sat 2-4.30 pm
