We are currently recruiting for a assistant manager to oversee operations of our busy town centre pub, restaurant and hotel in the heart of Ulverston Town Centre.
The Sun Inn is a very busy pub with various departments, including 20 hotel rooms, a busy late night bar service and a night club.
Working directly under our General manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar & restaurant
- Ensure high-quality food & drink presentation
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Train and supervise staff members
- Manage inventory
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for employees
- Stay updated on industry trends and viral food & drink
-Help to promote the business via social media platforms
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role is a bonus but this could also be perfect for someone with a large amount of experience in similar venues who's ready to take the next step in their career.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with bartending or beverage service
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations
