Assistant Manager - Full Time - Good Times Pubs and Bars

The Lewes Road Inn is a community pub on The Lewes Road in Brighton. Along side the local community there is also a large student population in the local area.

We offer a range of eclectic entertainment including lots of live music, Djs, comedy nights, weekly quiz plus lots more.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for live music and entertainment who would be a great support for our general manager and be a solid pair of hands to help grow the pubs offer further.

The pub is a freehouse which allows for a good selection of local beers, ales and ciders.

Our food offers comes from a large pizza oven, plus lots of burgers, wings, small plates and specials. Our Sunday roasts service is a busy part of the week.

Ideal experience / candidate

A people person, with a love for hospitality

Positive thinker, capable of using initiative

2 yrs management experience

Great attention to detail

Confident with all aspects of food service

Comfortable cashing up & locking up

Strong cellar management including handling real ales this is a free house so you can really put your mark on the pubs drink selection

Have a clear grasp of stock control and the ability to do line checks

Must hold a personal licence

Salary of 31,200 pa based on a 40 hour week
5% of salary for bonus pot
