Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team at The White Harte Pub in Bristol, in the heart of Clifton Triangle. The ideal candidate will have a culinary background, with experience in food production and a flair for creativity in food preparation. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

The Menu is straight forward, sports food/snacks / Smash Burgers and Pizzas.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Implement food safety practices to ensure the well-being of both staff and customers. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen protocols. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management. Pay: 12.21-19.84 per hour
