As the pub manager, you'll be responsible for all the operations of a pub, including front-of-house work, staff recruitment, accounting, stock control and additional duties like marketing and advertising.
Being a pub manager requires strong management, commercial and practical skills. You'll need to constantly adapt to ensure that the pub is profitable, pleasant and safe and that it is run in accordance with the law and ethical guidelines.

Responsibilities
interact with customers and ensure that high standards of customer service are maintained
take responsibility for pub safety and security.
make sure you comply with health and safety regulations at all times in the pub.
organise and advertise entertainment such as live music events, comedy nights, quizzes and karaoke competitions.
run promotional campaigns to market house products
collect and act on customer feedback to improve the overall running of the venue
undertake regular stock checks, place orders with suppliers and restock (which involves physical work)
recruit, train and manage staff, including leading meetings to update and motivate staff
monitor profitability and performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
meet with the area manager to assess pub performance and set sales targets
maintain relations with members of the local community, the police and licensing authorities.
Basic starting salary is 32,000 with possibly rising to 36,000 OTE

We are happy to discuss any arrangement ranging from full time employee to independant ownership and all other recognised licence trade arrangements such as Tenant. The candidate must have over 3 years experience in running a pub and an up to date personal licence.
