Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy hospitality or food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including chefs, servers, and kitchen personnel, ensuring smooth operation of the establishment Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards Manage food safety protocols in compliance with legal requirements and company policies Organise staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to foster a productive team environment Ensure excellent customer service by supporting staff in serving guests efficiently and courteously Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating culinary expertise to enhance offerings Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory effectively Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to uphold the establishment's reputation

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking, and food production skills Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Previous experience in restaurant or kitchen management is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Good communication skills to liaise with staff and customers effectively Experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous but not essential A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,420.00-28,000.00 per year
