You have experience of running a mid-volume site and proven ability to increase sales. You are a naturally charismatic host, capable of channeling your enthusiasm for the business to customers and team. You have the entrepreneurial skills and self-sufficiency required to take responsibility for all operational functions of a single unit, wholly managed operation. Duties
Supervise daily operations within the pub, kitchen and dining areas to ensure efficiency and quality service.
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Implement effective inventory management practices to maintain stock levels of bar supplies.
Bring fresh energy and ideas to grow the business. Host themed nights, live music, private and community events -- your creativity is welcome.
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Develop menus in collaboration with the culinary team, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations as necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Personal licence holder
Strong cellar knowledge
Friendly, proactive personality to engage the local community.
Demonstrate ability to lead a team effectively, with excellent supervisory experience.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
