About us



Windsor and Eton Brewery, or "webrew" for short, was founded in 2009 by four friends, keen to put great beer back on the map of Windsor. this small and people - led business brews quality and flavoursome beer, stocking pubs and supermarkets nationwide.

In 2015, the directors of Windsor and Eton Brewery acquired The George Inn Eton to continue making beer Windsor`s biggest attraction.

The Inn was originally build in around 1750 with traditional Georgian construction of solid brickwork, timber framed floors and a pitched tiled floor.

Key responsibilities ( the list is not exhaustive)



Business & Revenue Growth

? Drive performance across all revenue streams: bar, kitchen, The Hop House events, and hotel rooms.

? Identify and implement local marketing, promotions, and upselling strategies to grow food and drink sales with the Operations Management.

? Maximise occupancy and revenue from hotel rooms through effective booking and guest experience management.

? Develop and grow event bookings in The Hop House - including private hires, local functions, and regular in-house events with the Meeting and Events Manager.

People Leadership

? Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing front-of-house and kitchen team.

? Foster a positive and inclusive team culture with a focus on collaboration and accountability, based on our company values: Best, Enjoyment, Engagement, Responsible

? Manage staff training to maintain high standards in service, food hygiene, and health & safety.

? Lead by example with professionalism, energy, and integrity.

Customer Experience

? Ensure a consistently excellent guest experience across all areas - pub, events, and hotel.

? Respond swiftly and professionally to feedback and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

? Build strong relationships with locals and regulars to create a welcoming, community-first atmosphere.

Operations

? Manage stock, ordering, supplier relationships, and cost control.

? Maintain compliance with licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations.

? Oversee payroll cost, reporting, and financial record keeping.

? Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance throughout the premises.

Experience and skills



? Proven experience in a management role within pubs industry

? Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving revenue and profitability.

? Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills.

? Customer-focused mindset with high attention to detail and service standards.

? Confident with budgets, rotas, stock management, and POS systems.

? Experience in running events or functions is a plus.

? Passionate about pubs, food, and creating memorable guest experiences

Please note, this role requires flexibility with regards to working hours and willingness to work when required
