Assistant Pub Manager - The Victoria Inn, West Marden

Full-time (includes evenings and weekends)

Salary:

25,000 to 30,000 per year, depending on experience, plus tips

What You Will Be Doing

Support the Landlady with day-to-day operations and team leadership Run front-of-house shifts and ensure smooth, high-quality service Train, motivate, and manage team members Assist with bookings, stock control & line cleaning Take part in planning and delivering weekly events such as quiz nights and live sport viewings Uphold and contribute to a warm, welcoming customer experience Occasionally act as Duty Manager or keyholder when required

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience (3 to 5 years ) in a supervisory or assistant manager role in hospitality Friendly, confident communicator with strong leadership skills Passionate about food, drink, and excellent service Organised and reliable with good time management Comfortable working evenings and weekends Interested in contributing to a community-focused environment
